While working for an advertising agency in Amsterdam more than 7 years ago, I started to write my own extensions for TYPO3. The advertising agency was specialized in kids & youngsters and wanted to have some kind of a network to do research amongst these kids & youngsters. Because we were using TYPO3 for some time for all our clients and ourselves, this was the main choice to build this network upon. Pbsurvey was born.
The past few months I've been working on the TYPO3 Core FORM project. And I'm proud to say it is almost ready. @typo3 posted the sentence “Wow, that new form wizard Patrick Broens worked on definitely looks hot! How do you like it?” on Facebook and I got very positive feedback on it. Thanks guys and girls!
The last few days I have been posting a countdown on Twitter and my Facebook account. Some people were wondering what this was all about. I got some personal emails and replies with questions or positive comments (from the people who were aware of the situation). For all those still in despair, let me explain.
Two years ago I've started the FORM project, which goal is to replace the FORM content object in TYPO3. But this project came to a halt due to several reasons. It was never my intention to stop the project completely, too much work was already done and it looks very promissing. Thanks to some people in the TYPO3 community the FORM project is alive and kickin' again.
